Imagine comes up with tons of ideas! We have so many ideas from so many different people we can’t implement them all! It is great to have a culture where fresh ideas are always on the table. Yet, remember sometimes when an idea is thought of, it doesn’t mean that it has to be acted out. If we acted on every idea we would be in a million different directions.
The key is not just to develop tons of ideas, it is to pick and choose the right ones. Maybe the first idea was the step to the second idea and then to the third…Norm Larsen invented a product that we all use called “WD-40″ (Water Displacement-40). It was named that because on the 40th try he had come up with his formula–every time he failed he had to come up with a new idea to make it work!
Come up with tons of new ideas for your life or organization, but be slow to implement so you can pick the right one.

Life is about ideas that bring us to decide and make a choice. Each choice we make brings another set of choices and so on. How true it is to be deliberate in making the right choice. Spontaneity can be fun, but deep life decisions should be made with deep prayer and thought.
Sometimes I wish I’d follow my own advice. Go figure. LGLP
