A True Calling

What do you want to do in life? Still trying to figure it out? It seems like so many people hold a job simply to pay the bills. This, of course, is not a bad thing as long as we continue searching for our calling. There are so many people that are in the church or business world that say that they felt like they received a calling into that area. What does that mean? I believe it means that you live, breathe, feel, and hear the thing that disturbs your very being. If you are already in it, you could never see yourself doing anything else. If you have yet to take the step of faith to follow the calling, then you will stop at nothing to try and fulfill it, independent of money and status. Your calling might be to serve or to give and your job is just a means to accomplish that. If you have not found it yet, I encourage you to keep searching. It might be right underneath your nose.

Kevin, you couldn’t be more right. My job is so much fun, I look forward to Mondays. People look at me like I’m crazy, but now I try to help others find that same spark. Finding it changes the way you interact with family and friends away from work!
